I used to do it a ton on an old Twitter account and frankly it was a mess

I use Herculean amounts of strength and willpower to keep myself from coming on here and crying into the void every time I take a little too long to go to sleep and get a little too sad

Im sure at some point I'll write a chapter or two where one of them has a crush on a random but there's not gonna be any long term romance, I simply can't be assed

Its weird writing a comic where theres no romance whatsoever and constantly feel like something is missing compared to other narratives

But I know its not missing, I just dont want it there lmao

And finally we have their current form! I'm trying to stop saying "final design" for these guys because I'm sure that I'll keep refining them, but I feel ready to move forward with the comic using these!
I've got some writing done, but I don't have a ton of time for personal projects right now lmao

These were made over a year post-college, the first was where I changed the concept to be a serialized comic story, but I didnt get going because it didn't feel right. The second is when Slugg was added to round out the cast, and the final is when the episodic comic concept took shape.

These are the semi final and then final lineups, with a couple of adjustments in between. Still so so different from them currently, but Kit sort of took her final form here.
At this point, PH was going to be a kids show following the basic plot of Aladin (the assignment was to make an adaptation)

Since I found a ton of old old art in my backup hard drive, I thought it'd be fun to show the whole process of development for Planet Hoppers from an assignment in school all the way until now!
These were my very first passes at Kit, Di'Andra and Buddy. It's weird that they're so different from now
