Tattoo update: I ended up adding a 3rd day of tattooing to bang out everything that we outlined on day 1, for a total of 18 hours of tattooing.

I am significantly more inked, significantly sore 😅, and about to get on a plane, so pray for me 😂

Tattoo trip update: Successfully made it to the tattoo studio location, and my consultation is still on for today! This is an immeasurable relief. 😊

An update before bed: I’m safe and sound on a high floor of my hotel.

Tomorrow will be a waiting game to see if I can take my island-hopping flight to the tattoo studio location or if I have to stay here for longer (potentially the rest of the trip).

Unfortunately, I have received sad news on the eve of my Hawaii tattoo trip: my *other* tattoo artist is retiring at the end of this year, so I must now add a trip to London to my 2025 docket to get my final piece from her.

I got emotionally jumpscared by my client the other day when he asked me if I identified as bisexual. I thought my messaging was clear; apparently it’s not. 😅
