We really lucked out on our timing to meander about in Omiš before the weather turned a bit cooler. An afternoon boat ride on the Cetina River with a little stop at Radmanove Mlinice and the surrounding nature park is fun any season - and even more perfect when greeted by this beautiful spirit 🐴🌲🇭🇷

Some days the news is laughable. But laughable only briefly, as the undertone of the story is often “there are no rules anymore”, “nothing matters anyway”, “this is the worst timeline ever”…..
I feel it’s healthy to remember it’s all just that: a story.
Laugh, log off, love yourself and others. 🦋

I’m such a fan of ALL THE SOUPS! That sounds so good, too! 🍲

Chicken corn chowder robust with boiled & pureed celery root, mushrooms, potatoes, yellow onion, garlic, carrots, celery stalks, butter, cream, parsley, and celery tops

Umami veggie soup (broth made first with half of the carrots, swiss chard, celery, onion, garlic) then potatoes added with remaining chopped veggies, furikake, chili flake, ACV and simmered for another hour….served with crusty french bread for dipping. FAVORITE OF THE MONTH!

Veggie stew made with leftover chopped salty french fries (yes, try it!), chunky mushrooms, zucchini, celery, carrots, red and yellow onion elevated by a rich pre-made pumpkin soup mix stirred in and simmered for an extra 15 minutes. Ooh-la-la!

Longer nights, shorter days, an abundance of veggies at the local stands and a few gifted from neighbor gardens makes for a November brimming with gratitude. Comfort food season is here and I have had a healthy dose of homemade soup / stew / chowder fever for sure!

I stepped into my first creative workshop today in quite some time. A community event where I didn’t know anyone, but knew it was time to explore MORE of me.
Meditative drawing was the topic. Do I meditate? Every day. Do I draw? NEVER.
How absolutely wonderful it is to embrace vulnerability again!
