Some demoscene hardcore activitists believe a real demoparty should have more competitions, others want very specific competitions, we prefer testing the concept of competitions without voting (we call them showcases) how about a compromise? (1/2)

Saturday 6th of December we will host a workshop given by the developers of TiXL, teaching Inércia visitors how to use TiXL for generating visual effects and motion graphics for installations, live performances, and VJing. tixl.app You're going to miss it?

Our Inércia 2025 location is once again Salão de Festas da Incrivel Almadense, a legendary hall in the middle of Almada. Thanks to the Almada city hall department of culture and the staff at SFIA for letting us use it for our digital art shenanigans! See you there 6-7 December!

The theme for Inércia 2025 is bridges! Yes, those small and large systems carefully engineered to bring and maintain connectivity. Technological bridges, cultural bridges, social bridges, circuit board bridges... Get inspired and show us what bridges mean to you 6-7 December.

One of our party features is having a dedicated corner of vintage and retro hardware screening some demos, where you can know more about old, learn how to repair the old one you may have in the attic and play some vintage videogames. Have something cool you want to bring aswell?

This year we party 6-7 December. That's Saturday and Sunday. Monday is national holiday in Portugal. We'll likely have a preparty on Friday night (TBA) for those who come earlier to socialize but main event is Saturday and Sunday.
