"artisanal" music as a niche will probably be fine, regardless of if it's live or not
in the same way that ai couldn't synthesize jazz from blues and ragtime, i dont think it could synthesize dubstep from uk garage and dnb.
i think he should've spent more time on "ai will replace human music but only if you never really cared about exploring music in the first place"

Here is a project I made the majority of in February of last year and rediscovered recently: vaporwaved, drumless newgrounds songs. I added a song or two, did some touching up, and that was the final version you see here. I had originally considered this as a DJ mix, but vaporwave is weird and you really could consider most of these new in that context. I still wanted to credit the original artists whose 20 year old newgrounds songs I slowed down and put effects on though so I guess this is a remix album? I would call it a tape and group it with my "flips and DJ tools" series but this feels a lot more intentionally sequenced and has a much more singular identity than just "heres a bunch of dj edits ive made". Weird release but I think it's neat so I didn't want to let it just sit in a folder in my computer forever. As always you can download for free or donate if you like. However I would also like to reiterate that I really didn't do much here and you should probably find a way to donate to the original artists instead since i think all of them (except for BT obviously lol) are independent as well, and, well, I doubt anyone really made any money off of a song being really popular in late 2000s flash games.
