Balatro wiki says that the “Mega” text on some booster packs is a reference to the Metallica logo but I know better

tbh i think its been in the pipeline for a while, any social media feed that is set up to learn and prioritize engagement will eventually pivot to anger and fear cause thats what people engage with the most.

it's a genuine synthesis of both of the genres though, positives and negatives.

on the mystlike side there's a lot of obtusity and backtracking, but it's great when things fit into place

and on the roguelike side, rng will just own you sometimes, but there's a lot of good risk mitigation options

the last time i played one of these information games was Lorelei a few months ago and i did all the notes for that on paper

ohh ok. if stripe has super limited availability that does really suck ass. ive mostly been seeing people doomposting over being asked to provide PII tho which i feel like has always been the case for income tax reasons (although that could also be another US-centric thing)

i feel like there’s hubbub because stripe is just more recently a news story wrt payment processor censorship, but PayPal has also definitely been doing that too they’ve just been at it longer lol
