It details how staff have worked to support affected patients and families and reaffirms Fenway’s ongoing advocacy and inclusive mission. Highlighted portions stress the HHS policy change, the risk to FQHC status, and Fenway’s continued belief in and support for gender-affirming care.

Fenway Health just sent this message to all of their patients. They are lying to their patients telling them that cessation of gender affirming care to trans youth was due to a change in federal regulations. This is a lie. No such change was made to regulations. This was Fenway complying in advance.
