09.12.2024 17:05 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Honestly most folks on the right are average Joes like your or me (& not extremists like far left wing media likes to portray) & I've found many of them have good & valid arguments, regardless of wether I agree with them or not, so I'd safely assume a similar percentage to that on the left.

(& yes I got my old pokemon cards out for this)
And that is your failing. Even if you disagree with them, it is far more productive to have a reasonable discussion & either settle on a middle ground or agree to disagree
Blindly opposing people who think differently to you makes you as bad, if not worse than them
(Obvs dont apply for extremists)
Can't wait for POE 2

A well appreciated rabbit hole to dive into
I've always habitually gone "windows Shift Esc" then selecting task manager because windows is pure jank that sometimes doesn't like bringing task manager up.

Ate it.
Nope, had no issues with it for the Sharpe books. Tbh the shows were also very good.
01.12.2024 10:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Effectively, yes. You are correct here. In the end, a good/bad game will get praised/flamed regardless of politics & it is generally utilised as an excuse.
The reviews provided here seems to be an interesting insight into their minds: store.steampowered.com/curator/4469...
In this instance, we have a game that has excellent writing. As well as great gameplay. Regardless of opinions, no one had much to criticize. Others e.g. D.A. veilguard fall flat in both aspects & there's much more (generally valid) criticism leveraged at them outside of the left wing echo chambers.

29.11.2024 06:28 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0From what I see, the criticism goes down to things being shoehorned in or being overly political alongside potentially bad writing, which exemplifies the issue. Usually when the writing is good, you don't appear to see as much criticism of "woke" games.

But doesn't complaining tell you what themes not to explore? There's plenty of other options for a half decent writer to explore.
Also what do the metrics say? Is it just this lot who aren't happy or is there a silent majority that also avoid these "woke" games?

Intentionally uses "X" to spite you
22.11.2024 07:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As a kid I would usually have two books on the go at once (one at school, one at home) & would average 3-4 books per week.
100% agree with this
