CLEAN AIR STRONG LUNGS 2025 • Over 10% of Coloradans have Asthma • Particulate from fossil fuels enters the body and lodges in the organs, causing strain - particularly in the heart. • Pollution from emissions and wildfire smoke (caused by rising temperatures) can trigger flare-ups. Everyone with lung or heart issues pays the price. • Cutting emissions = fewer smog days & fewer hospital visits = healthier breathing (and savings) for all of us.

Today House Republicans closed the Floor until Friday Oct. 3rd. By doing this they eliminated even the possibility of negotiating on a budget and avoiding a shutdown.

City Council and School Board are on the ballot, positions that directly affect our everyday lives.

Housing prices are causing some people to have smaller families than planned Home prices skyrocketed during the pandemic — and have stayed high. For some Americans, making their budget work means having fewer children than they'd envisioned.

Far too many people are forced to choose between a roof over their heads or the family they want. We must make Boulder County more affordable so that families have the freedom to build the life they desire. Democrats are working hard to lower housing costs and create more opportunity for everyone.

On September 10th, Senator Chuck Schumer initiated a Senate vote on releasing the Epstein Files. All Senate Democrats voted in favor of releasing the files, while Senate Republicans voted against their release and against making the files publicly available.
