Finally got lights on my tree!

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

For context we watched an interview of a disabled homeless woman with the meaning of analysing the quality of the interview, but ended in a discussion coloured with ableism and classism.

Yeah exactly. The apparent classism and ableism is painful.

It's WILD to sit in a room of social workers and sociologists and listen to them talk about homeless people as "bad people" making bad decisions.

I rarely get upset in class but what the actual fuck.

Presented my research to the department. Exhausted, but kinda satisfied.

I found out my town actually has some kind of store for these, so I'll try to gather courage and drop by some time. Will I be considered a heretic if I tell them I just wanna dabble on some stuff that makes me happy and not commit to a faction? 😬

Since Twitchcon, I've been pushing myself to be more consistent, to provide a better stream experience to my community, to post more and generally get better at this.
