So Qatar gets NATO Article 5 level protection, but Ukraine does not? This is raw corruption in action.

So MSNBC reportedly fired Matthew Dowd tonight just hours after Jesse Watters called for his "immediate" termination over his Charlie Kirk shooting comments.

Meanwhile, Watters said he's going to "avenge" Kirk's death because "they are at war with us" -- and he'll face no repercussions from Fox.

The issue is not whether regular people will know why these flags are at half mast but that the state and its leaders know who Kirk is and decided to lower the flags in the first place.

And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions. And I think that is the environment we are in. You can’t stop with these sort of awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and not expect awful actions to take place. And that’s the unfortunate environment we are in.”

I thought he celebrated Kirk's death with dancing and drinking, but he was fired for this. Just this.

I have two professor colleagues who have faced threats and harassment due to the organization Charlie Kirk built, and they were not alone. We can denounce and loathe political violence without hagiography for its victims. This is dangerous nonsense.

Charlie Kirk started the Professor Watchlist, which caused friends of mine and their families to be terrorized by right-wing assholes. So, you know, fuck everyone trying to find some nugget of decency in that shitpile.
