Lublin by Manya Wilkinson (pub. @andotherstories.bsky.social ) is such a worthy winner. It’s a beautiful, funny, poignant short novel told with exquisite control; a prewar Yiddish fable refracted through a postwar lens. A book that we judges all wanted to press on people and say: “Read this!”
