It's an interesting observation. I think it's probably a tad easier to pander to a right wing audience than actually engage a progressive one. We do have somewhat complex rules whereas you can satisfy them with references to loving God and hating Soros. We're..complicated.

Looking at the election results and wondering where we go next, I am reaffirming my commitment to being both a progressive and a populist. We must wrest populism back from the right wing and promote an alliance of the poor, the working class and the middle class?/!
