I use a paper towel to blot the water from my brushes while I'm painting, as 0 and 000 brushes dry out quickly and need to be re-moistened. At the end of the project the paper towel is almost a timeline. The larger watery blots are larger brushes.

What an incredible combination of words. Would make a great band name.
