Just reposting this which I think is the most gorgeous thing I have seen in my career - a critically endangered orange-bellied parrot feeding on a carpet of daisies after an ecological burn. This was the first time they’d had the chance to feed naturally in 15y and was wonderful to witness

The annual Christmas tradition of ‘oh! The parents are dropping in post lunch?’ - mad cleaning ensues.

I’m convinced every Zoom or Teams video conference is really a seance in disguise… “can you hear me?”, “we can’t see you”, “you are coming through clearly”, “the echo is terrible” - still beats driving to meetings all day, though.
