I have been having a lot of fun playing Mewgenics, and as it is a game that only requires a mouse i can play it at work using a remote desktop app so that is pretty cool (but very laggy as it not designed for this)

Now you might say just limit how much they can edit, but how much is too much and how much is too little. It's all extremely blurry and there is no outcome that people will be happy with so it's better to not touch that can of worms

This is just a basic simple thing that has happened in the past with editable posts but there are much greater and more malicious options that people can do if they can edit there own posts

An example of why bad is this, you post "I hate X" and there is a response of someone saying something like "they suck" then you edit you post to say "i love puppies" and now the person in the comments looks like an ass for responding to something else

This, now this is nice

Also in the comments of here I see people asking for an edit post button, that is a terrible idea. There is a reason that no social media site has an edit
