Our last game was won by a statue merchant. Hadn't seen that before. I like that you can't do everything in this game.

In Earthborne Rangers, players take actions freely in any order, with the exception that a player has to pay a cost to do 2 things in a row.

In the newer iterations of Aeons End, the turn order is random but in 4p players are paired up. When the 1/2 card comes up, players 1 and 2 decide who will go. Same for 3/4.
They have been mentioned, but Arkham Horror: The Card Game and Darkest Night were the ones that came immediately to mind.

I guess I think C - This resource made my decision of whether to push slightly more interesting than All or Nothing. A spectrum of results is good, but some cliffs are needed for excitement.

Do I know which one will happen before making my push? If so, I don't think I have a visceral reaction to either bc it was part of my calculation beforehand. (Ill go for it, bc I'll at least get something vs. I better stay bc I might get nothing.)
