A scene across the moor in the north of Swaledale with fresh new green grass and the rich reddish-brown of old growth. A ewe stands over her lamb near to a small stream with the roof and chimney of an old house peeps over in the distance while the hills beyond disappear into the mist.

This is very emblematic of the Dales to me, the moors parts specifically, with a sheep guarding her lamb, the lovely colours, the little stream and the misty hills. What looks like a typical stone building is actually still used when the sheep are gathered.
