How can it be fair when I left uni 2020 and my balance was approx £70k but I check it 6 years later it's £90k! It is basically a tax because I'll be paying it until I'm 60 whatever happens

Interesting new analysis by the UK Energy Research Centre, which suggests that most of the increase in electricity bills since 2021 is still because of gas.

My issue with electronic ID cards is that it's a waste of time and money and won't change anything. People who can't legally get a job will still get cash in hand jobs, eID or not. I for one would like it and I'm excited with how technology can help us make things easier.

If your work mandates MFA, make them give you a hardware key. It's all very well removing email but the temptation is there to log in via your browser and still check it. If your key is on your desk whilst you're off/on holiday there's no way in 👍
