Haha, I shortened that bc of the char limit here, there was more, but it was basically repeated in every query reply to me, so...yeah, I thought so.

This! Five minutes or so to get a feel for the art style and the tone, sure, but I really rather just read or ask a y/n question.

Also, having been doing this for 15+ years means I'll understand a whole lot of mechanics and narration just by looking at it + some pointers about specifics.

For me, a playable demo should be a plus, not a requirement, and it certainly isn't a substitute for communication.

So "play the demo" as a reply to a query is…not ideal.

Don't get me wrong, I love playing games, else I wouldn't be in the line of work. But there are only so many hours in a day, and a well-written design doc or world bible are easier to handle while working instead of booting up the game to look up what a specific thing looks like and how it works.

Hey #gamedev please don't make me play your game for a #gameloc job. It takes way too long, and I will miss stuff.

If you need me to play, PAY ME and give me cheat codes. Else, screenshots, reference material, and answering my queries will suffice.
