Three done today: Mickey's Ultimate Challenge, Do Re Mi Fantasy and Golgo 13.

And goodness I spent an eternity on the slider puzzle at the end of the first game. To be fair, I also played on Ultimate difficulty, so that kinda was on me!

The second one had a chance of being a lower 23 but I took a death at the start of the last stage, so that was unfortunate. It was quite alright otherwise!

Might do more of this, or try Hard difficulty perhaps.

That was really good! Positively surprised how the game uses its mechanics and you learn to navigate new areas in a clear and organic way. One thing that didn't feel as obvious, and I randomly stumbled upon - of course I ended up needing it several times in the endgame xD

I didn't know this had a set! Each level has a separate "get all items" unlock; some of the bricks were very well hidden, so I didn't get them all initially. Also turns out not taking damage is doable if you play slower. There's a leaderboard, so having run this, I went for that as well ^^

Okay, that was really neat! Pretty chill to do, just hanging out and seeing what games you end up seeing - something like singularium was a nice discovery.

Also interesting to see something like "high score leaderboard" being checkmarked by Street Fighter 6 of all games because minigames xD

Gon really gave a rather unique spin to its gameplay - I'm not sure if I can directly think of anything else that tried something in a similar way.

Everyone should play Gon. The game is a delight. It was only released in Japan on the Super Famicom but it doesn't matter because there is not a single lick of text in it. Everything is communicated with expressive animations and sound/music work.

Seriously, spend 30min finding it and give it a try

Did a Crusader of Centy derust basically; was a run I didn't do for very long at the time but I did enjoy, and now as well.

Then Darkwing Duck on TG-16, which afaik is the first game on that system that I've now beaten, so I guess there's that.
