I came across this name, personally I think Harry Guy Flower is a bit of an unfortunate name. I wish I couldn’t met him!

He literally worked for this newspaper, and somehow I never found the article. You literally type in his mom’s name and it pops up as one of the first things. I get a little frustrated with younger me sometimes

It was so frustrating because I was looking in West Virginia, where they lived. For a long time, I assumed they just said they were married. But recently, it just didn’t seem right to me. I hand went through Records from Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky. And finally, I found it in Boyd County, KY.

Isn’t frustrating when you break through a brick wall only to find that the answers were always sitting in front of your eyes for years?
Nobody knew their names. About a year and a half ago I discovered their identities. And just a couple days ago, I proved they actually got married. 2x gt grandpnts

Is #genealogy the reason I have trust issues 🤔

Almost 20 years ago, my sister was adopted into our family. Luckily we know about her bio family.

When they were born, 7 out of 8 of their great grandparents were alive.

2 out of 16 of their 2x great grandparents were alive.

One of their 3x great grandma died only 10 years before they were born.

I’ve thought about starting a blog many times! When I share my family stories online, it’s generally on a place like this. Not to say that I have any shortage of stories 😅
