I subscribe to the #WaPo and #NYT. Each morning, I end my reading of the WaPo with the comics. Each Sunday, as they were when I was a kid, they are big and bold.

This one captures why comics are more important than maybe ever before. I so relate.

I grew up reading #newspapers. It was a big deal for our entire family, especially on #Sunday mornings when reading was accompanied by a big country #breakfast.

There was a pecking order for who got each section first. As the oldest kid, I always got the #comics. Then and now, they make me laugh.

Today’s #Tatulli’s #Lio comic nails it. And uses every celebrity #cat and #catnip to pay homage. No doubt that this clever cartoonist is a cat lover.

Awesome!

When it’s bitter cold outside, it’s time for beef #stew in the #crockpot and a #Hoosier cream #pie in the oven.

Key to the pie: 20 minutes at 400F degrees and 30 minutes at 275F.
