The final Commando from an eBay lot I got a whole ago, the molding was SO crisp on this one. I love it. I was even able to pick out the missile tips in the chest launcher.

This past Halloween, I introduced my 9-year-old to the world of Ernest, and he is definitely a fan.

I woulda laughed pretty hard at that...but that's probably why I'm an "individual contributor," and not a member of a team...much less someone's boss.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say. It was a lost cause before I started, and just part of the cost of admission when you love metal minis.

Checks are decals. One size of them I had fit so perfectly between body panels to break up the massive amounts of flat space on this mini.

So, what are those spotters I shared spotting for? Well, for #clanwolf, it's this guy. (The mold lines were so bad, trying to fix them would be worse, so I just accepted them.)

Yeah, I looked for them stateside forever and never found any I liked, so I got these (thankfully before imports got stupid.)

As for the kanji, for a while, in researched and painted by hand...and then forgot what they all said. So I said fuck it and steered into it by going full random.

Recently, our cub scouts got to go to the Police stables - and lemme tell you, those horses are GIANT - and that was the first time I'd been close to a horse in 25+ years. I was...uneasy... letting my son feed them carrots.

A couple of times, kids almost wandered behind, and I was like NOOOPE!
