#Morgantown Regional #Battletech Club's mission was preventing pirate dropship from escaping after last mission's snowy story. I got to keep the dropship afterward! Awesome! And I've finally got XP and C-Bills to unlock the medium #Battlemech category.

I received some new #Macross toys today, and they are awesome.

"Retraining" ICE being pitched as the solution for the killings and mass harassment thousands of ICE thugs have committed is tantamount to shitting in one hand and then expecting gold to come out the other.

Also, it is an insult to anyone with basic human intelligence.

I don't exactly know. I was getting out of BT when these came out, so I'm only just now surveying the products from this era. (BTW - I'll get back to you about the Battletechnology models. Sorry!!!!!)

A good friend from my 1980s university days passed his #Battletech collection on to me. Some real treasures I am very very grateful for. These are just part of it.

The story it concludes is one of the most amazing I've ever experienced in a game, or in many other media formats.

Just glue the jump plume column to a blank hex base. Finish the pegged hex base as normal. Then swap the mech between them as suits your fancy. (In-progress shots of my own. Still need to texture and paint the regular base, and finish the mech.)

Done whe #Battletech #RalPartha Grasshopper mech from the 1980s. Still ugly. I used a copper/bronze-like paint, because it reminded me of one of my dad's old Captain Video toys from the 1950s.

Primer. I wish I'd have done a little better with the right elbow. But I exceeded my patience for remodeling this thing when CGL has something so much nicer.

1980s #RalPartha original #Battletech "Grasshopper" mech in progress. Stripped old paint. Replaced tiny missing hands with salvaged fists. Repositioned right arm. Add antenna. Ral Partha vintage base. Stabbed pinning wire into my finger. It's still ugly. Maybe a good paint job can save it.

It is interesting to note that ⁦‪#StarTrek ‬⁩ #Voyager, so beloved in retrospect, was thought "woke" ("politically correct" was the term way back then) at its premiere.

I wish they'd buy Texas, and take it away.
