I still wonder how long Sky will tolerate the livestreams given their now generally high quality and the subsequent impact on Sky's theoretical exclusivity?

Of course, the other thing Wimbledon does is bankroll tennis in the UK - something The Hundred can't now do, because the future profits have been sold off in the mad pursuit of a short-term windfall - that's the bit that we should be really mad about.

Perhaps controversially, I'm not convinced this necessarily matters. There isn't much evidence that Wimbledon has attracted new fans to other forms of tennis either, but it is still massively successful and single-handedly keeps tennis on the map in this country.
