I've been lazy regarding reading articles/books/etc. for keeping up with archive/records management matters the last few years.
Are anyone able to share recent reading lists from the archive courses? Or any recommendations on articles regarded as essential reading for the modern archivist?

Does anyone know of any large collections of correspondence between women covering the 1910s-1960s? I have surveyed a huge collection covering 30+ years of friendship and I’m wondering how unique it is?

Three members of the collections team huddled around a document, trying to work out what a word says. They all look perplexed.

With every moment that we struggle with some palaeography, another archivist is attracted to the document. At the current rate, the entire archive sector will be in the office by the end of the day.

Oh right that does explain the people. With nearly every exhibition I always try to not go in the last few weeks, but I always forget!
