It's going to be really difficult to only post an album a day for 28 days because American music IS black music, so there is an overwhelming amount of world-class greatness to draw from, but let's get it started with the one and only Ray Charles!

That's a tough call! Loverboy were way more consistently good as a straight ahead rock band, while Journey had that ridiculous overreach, where they generally fell flat on their faces trying too hard to be epic, except on the rare occasions when they actually were epic.

Section 31 was indeed very silly, but if you can appreciate the Fifth Element vibe it has, it's not as terrible as the toxic fandom would lead you to believe, and Michelle Yeoh kicking people in the face is always entertaining!
