Got the big boys out at the club today for another Lust for Glory playtesting. Russian v Austria 1710 .

One of our local model railway clubs hold their annual show in the Maritime Museum, Irvine. Excellent idea and a win-win for hobby and museum. Lots of micro layouts that can be done in minimal space. And the Ayrshire Scale Modellers brought some fine kits.

17 in attendance at Glasgow Phoenix last night. Dragonfire and Quartermaster General: South Front boardgames, and no fewer than 9 games of Voidfighter over five tables!

Busy night at Glasgow Phoenix. Nineteen in attendance across a big spread of games. Fate of the Fellowship, QMG: South Front, Too Many Bones, C&C Tricorne, Mordheim, O Group, Xenos Rampant WW2 and Voidfighter!

Suddenly, there was an alarming level of black water pouring through the church ceiling. About half a metre from the games shelves too.

It's a bit more complex than the other Undaunteds, but I like the differences between the two sides and between the squads.

The sci-fi background is based on a historical mining conflict apparently.

Appropriately, given my online talk on the Napoleonic Wars in the Adriatic this evening, I am leading Marmont against the Austrians. The first division has made a bold attack on the Austrian flank.

That’s us set up at the Targe show in Kirriemuir. The Battle of Kinburn 1787. The Ottomans have landed, dug trenches, and then advance towards the Russian fort. Suvorov orders an attack. More about the battle in a certain book out this week😂.
