The U.S. Under Trump: Alone in Its Climate Denial

President Trump is doing more than just turning a blind eye to the fact that the planet is growing hotter. He is weakening the U.S.'s capacity to understand global warming and to prepare for its consequences.

Has Maine learned how to make heat pumps lower electricity costs for… Heat pump adoption in the state has soared. Now a new state energy-efficiency plan aims to accelerate the trend to cut emissions and control power prices.

As more heat pumps come online, the grid's fixed costs are spread out over more kilowatt-hours, lowering bills for the average consumer.
