I have been dealing with a very difficult living situation due to my parents being emotionally abusive. This Sunday was a breaking point for me and I couldn’t take it anymore. The next day, I discretely packed my bags and computer, and left. I am currently staying at a friend’s house. They have a spare room and I’ve been allowed to temporarily crash at their place for the time being. I have a roof over my head, and for the first time in a while now, I feel physically and emotionally safe. Despite this, I am not financially stable. And this is where, unfortunately, I still need help. Bills don’t stop just because I’m in a crisis. Yo I was literally watching Demon Slayer while typing that haha. It's just sort of breaks "show don't tell". Like, almost just telling us this person we just met is having a full character arc in 10 minutes.

Anyways, the anime's redeeming qualities do make up for it, just wish for more focus.

Best show I've ever seen was in a cramped room in a dilapidated building with 100+ people in the hood during the intermission of a jam. That energy can't be recreated in any sold out stadium.

Underground Hip Hop is exceptional, but also not something the media sells to suburban white chicks. People want some originality, find a local performance or a jam.

So weird for people to think Hip Hop's soul lies with millionaire artists who are already made it.
