And instead of forcing literally ANYTHING of value through in compromise…after 40 days, the Democrats went “actually, turns out you’re 100% right”.

The Democratic Party folded. They agreed to re-open government for a PROMISE of a vote.

Yes, SNAP recipients suffered for *nothing*.

Yes, there was NO ACA extension.

Yes, they accepted ALL the blame.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

yesterday, the fbi and other feds helped greg bovino and a caravan of border patrol agents ravage little village and cicero.

according to pilsen defense & access, two of the people detained by feds were a 14 year old and 18 year old who stood in the way of agents to protect their mom.

they were taken, along with a handful of others, to the fbi field office in chicago, where they were held without contact or charges.
