So sad to hear this, I used to read it to mine and like all the great so called ‘children’s literature’ it was always about so much more

Aw man, thanks for posting. I saw that exhibition in the old Third Eye Centre just before I went to North Uist for the first time, so important, the book has hardly left my since, a bit battered now but sure aren’t we all. Did you see it in Stornaway?

I live in a small town on the east coast of Ireland which was so enamoured of Dwight D. Eisenhower that they named a pier after him. Dwight D. Eisenhower also authorised the murder Patrice Lumumba, the first democratically elected president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo
