An A4 white piece of paper with an intricate maze like patter that to me resembles a bonsai tree and an intricate root structure. That there is so much more going on inside us and out of the view of others. Nothing about us is just a straight line through life.

I haven't created anything like this in a long while. I think I might want to get back into it. I like the black and white but also water colours would also look cool for the background.

Hey Andy, better buy pre-bonsai material from a nursery, which has grown already for a few years. Deshojo is the maple you want to have. If you grow it from seed you will need 30-40 years for a great bonsai. My 15 y.o. jap. crabapple bonsai and my 12 y.o. deshojo (from 6 weeks ago) for reference.

A Bonsai, incidentally a Ficus bbbenjamina, a bit over 6 years old now:

A 3 level display of bonsai. Bottom is lavender bonsai in a reddish earth coloured pot with moss and rock landscape. Middle is cottoneaster with moss covered soil surface the moss is blue green. Top is Mānuka bonsai in a dark earth coloured pot with moss covered soil surface and the moss is very bright green.

Now with moss applied to all three #Bonsai had a try at how they now look in a shohin like display.
They do sand out a bit better.

Essas são as ferramentas que uso nos bonsai. Algumas japonesas (em cima das caixinhas), outras chinesas (compradas quase 20 anos atrás). Tem instrumento que era de dentista aí também, ferramenta caseira de raspagem de tronco e, claro, uma mini motosserra. Sim, uma mini motosserra.
