The US partner received 266 Gemini proposals for the 2026A semester. About 75% of those were submitted within 48 hours of the (extended) deadline (we are not looking at you 🙂)! Our Time Allocation Committee will soon review and rank the proposals, so stay tuned! #astronomy

Attention Gemini GHOST users: An issue was identified with the ThAr arc lamp in GCAL. The lamp was replaced, and PIs with data taken between 2025-02-14 UT and 2025-03-25 UT are advised to avoid calibration lamps for those dates. Details are given here: www.gemini.edu/news/instrum.... #astronomy

Did you know you can access reduced GHOST 👻 data directly from the Gemini Archive? Just search for observations made with GHOST. The reduced files will be highlighted in yellow for both the red and blue channels and have the suffix _dragons.fits or _calibrated.fits.
