If he does jump in, the party will need to find a new interim leader.
Since the election, I’ve heard from multiple sources that Margaret Johnson was a candidate the PC caucus has, and will, get behind for that job.
Whether she wants it is an entirely different matter.

Instead, they've invited me to go through years of expense reports and try and find the expenses myself.
Maybe that will be my Xmas project.
And while I'm on a bit of a tear, I asked the education department for some key data more than two weeks ago.
No data, and now they're radio silent.

So the province just told me it won't identify which civil servant spent $1,000 of taxpayers' money on a one-night hotel stay in Barcelona, or which person booked themselves into an on-site hotel at Disney.
