Yes! It’s starting to look like a different letter is required because it’s all about selling your book so now it’s like we have to try to sell it in five different ways at best

I’m not gonna lieeee, at 27 I feel like I should have had an agent by now or a book deal or having multiple books out or simply being spectacular and having a spectacular life.

And yes I am aware that is being too hard on myself and not at all nice.

Sometimes it feels like there’s no right way to write a query letter because you can have critique groups, agented authors look over it, get fulls, go into pitch events, and while some will say it’s solid others will say…nah, fix it. So now it’s looking like it’s time to cry
