Correcting President Pitney's 5-20-2025 spin claiming it is good news that the state didn't appropriate raises for non-union staff. When the bosses and politicians say all University of #Alaska workers are "in this together," that's a lie meant to bind you to the failures of their system.

It's hard to even tell if this is true. Pitney uses every excuse in the book to fight against UA workers winning higher wages. Right now there is an effort amongst staff to unionize, so you better believe she's dusting off her book of cheap scare tactics.
