Let’s be clear about what happened to Jimmy Kimmel Trump’s most brazen attack on free speech yet.

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.

There’s entire courses in criminal justice classes about this, which evidence is easier to falsify and which isn’t. The percent of this happening is practically their entire brand.

As a suburban white lady with a penchant for true crime, there is decades worth of precedent of both the FBI and local police falsifying evidence and testimony, even with all the witnesses being present. There are several dozen of small and large cases where they’ve done this, even recent ones.

This morning, ICE rolled into a Home Depot parking lot using a moving truck loaded w/agents, like a Trojan horse, to snatch up Latino workers. Whoever they could find. No idea if they were undocumented or not.

That’s not enforcement. That’s racial profiling, and violates a standing court order.

In 2016, Ghislaine Maxwell falsely stated, under oath, that she was not aware that Jeffrey Epstein recruited underage girls for sex (you know, the ones she was actually recruiting on his behalf). She was charged with two counts of perjury for this.

Noticing a pattern here.

Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good.

I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.

The next part of the plan to steal the midterms and/or the 2028 election - an attempt to do a mid-decade census to take seats and electoral votes away from blue states. I knew this was coming.

Look, where I grew up, my dad would say: Being a man means standing by your word.

Being a man means you push back against the bully, and you uplift people. You don’t punch down at marginalized communities.

ICE agents are evidently miserable. Good. They should all quit. If they don't, they're signaling that their love of kidnapping people and throwing them into concentration camps where many of those people are likely to die is greater than their misery.
