It worked well as a ying-yang-like experience. While both have comedic elements, SUNSET SUPERMAN's more OTT nature (and Billy Zane's mustache; comedy gold) was the perfect "uplift" after the bleaker ending of HND.

How’d it play as a double feature? Can’t say I’ve done it.

First is HE NEVER DIED, a phenomenal black-comedy horror with a great performance by Henry Rollins, followed by SUNSET SUPERMAN (and that name only), an anarchic action comedy with ridiculous (in the best way) characters.

This movie is incredible. It’s a little like Home Alone if Michael Jai White was Macaulay Culkin, and the Wet Bandits were Billy Zane, Roald from Letterkenny, and a bunch of fuck-ups. Absolutely incredible.
