My son's entire education is being threatened right now, and I AM SO EFFING PISSED OFF. I've been mad, but now you're messing with my son, who has worked his gd tail off to be where he is right now. Who has found a way to afford his education without going into debt.

He sent me a text just now that his professor had a meeting with the whole research lab that, due to Trump cuts, the whole lab will likely lose their jobs.

And since he paused federal loans, my son won't be able to apply for that either.

and some federal loans, but otherwise is able to pay his tuition in full thanks to his research jobs, and help from the VA courtesy of his father. I do not pay his tuition, he has figured it out on his own from day one.

My son is a grad student. He has worked so so hard in his 5 years as a college student. He has impressed his professors so much that they have hired him for multiple semesters to do research, or to be a teacher's assistant. He has managed to only take one small(ish) private loan.

Bird flu is killing local(ish) birds. Eggs farmers will, or have already, been hit. Meanwhile, Trump has slashed funding to the Centers for Disease Control.
