Close shot of my left arm. I'm a pale white woman and my upper arm never sees the light of day so it's extra pale. On it there's a brand new tattoo, the skin still slightly red and swollen, depicting a raven flapping its wings, colored in water colors with a mix of violet, light purple and blue

Got my Robin bird on my right arm and now got my Raven on the left. More color may be added in a couple of weeks but I'm happy for now

And damn the women in my life have stepped the fuck up! Not that my brothers and best friend didn't but gotta say, the women, even those who barely know me, like my mom's friends, they spread the word, share the picts of my products and drive miles just to buy from me it's amazing!

And it takes a village, right? Mom helps me out far more than she should. This wouldn't have been possible without my aunts' finantial help. Even my sis-in-law put her car to help.

It's just hitting me just how proud and grateful I am

Okay so on Friday it was my shop's 1 year anniversar! And y'all know what? I am pretty proud of myself. I've worked my ass off to make this work and slowly but surely I'm seeing real progress.

I'm just happy y'all. Some days are harder and others easier but my hard work is paying off
