Primary 6 have been rainforest experts this week! They used everything they’ve learned to design and build their own rainforest shoeboxes 🌍🦜🐅

Group 2 also had lots of fun at Bikeability today! Thank you to our instructor Tom for two great sessions today 🚲

Group 1 had a great session today! We checked our bikes and helmets, practised controlled cycling, braking smoothly and pedalling with confidence 🚴‍♀️🚴

Primary 6 enjoyed outdoor learning today, collecting natural materials to use in our rainforest boxes this week! 🌿

Today, our class stepped into the shoes of the characters from Wonder. ✍️📚We wrote diary entries from different perspectives, exploring how it feels to see the story through someone else’s eyes ✏️

This week for Maths Week Scotland we went on a Shape Seeker scavenger hunt! Lots of fun was had ✖️➖➕🟰

This morning we enjoyed attending Antonine’s Macmillan Coffee Morning! It was a treat to share something sweet and have a chat with parents and guardians. Wonderful to see so many wearing green in support of such an amazing charity! 💚☕️🍰

We had lots of fun joining the live Maths Week Scotland workshop using maths and data skills to protect the rhinos! 🦏

Inspired by our rainforest animal research, Primary 6 created vibrant parrot paintings that truly show off their brilliant painting skills!

Primary 6 have been looking at the different emotions in the book “Wonder”. Today we looked at different character perspectives and even stepped into the character shoes by doing “hot seating”! 📚

Today, P6 used their research skills to gather key facts about their chosen animal in the rainforest! 🐒🐍🐆🐅🐊
