We are focusing on phonological awareness through our play experiences to adapt a universal approach for all our children 😀. Today we used the Bee Bots (technology) to learn the basics of coding, sequence and direction. We found matching words on our journey. Great awareness of rhyme 😀!!

Looking forward to opening our doors tomorrow afternoon for our sharing the learning event following Health Fortnight.

We had so much fun at the school food showdown. We learned about eating healthy and new cooking skills.

We had a talk about emotions and how to manage them.

We had great fun this afternoon learning about The Great Race! We even made our own zig zag Chinese dragons.

Using dienes to understand place value of numbers and to help us visualise how bigger numbers are made or partitioned too. Well done!

Best laughs today with Andy amd his Jammin Fitness session. We loved this activity as part of our HWB fortnight tasks.

Today we used ‘The Boy, The Mole, The fox and The Horse’ as a stimulus to discuss our sense of belonging along with other themes. We were very interested in the characters. We decided to draw our favourite character before using adjectives to describe them based on the extracts we watched.

What a fun first week back in P2 I have had! We enjoyed playing some exciting listening games, using the timer on the iPad to complete challenges & working on our fitness in PE.

Tuck Shop managers were using their skills in budgeting and profiting today. The pic n mix was especially a tough decision with lots of calculations involved. #antopupilvoice #antodyw

Today, we thought showered adjectives to describe the dragon that we created yesterday! 💭🐉🤔 We then used these to write an interesting character description!
