A poem by Langston Hughes titled "Tired". It reads as the following: "I am so tired of waiting, Aren't you, For the world to become good And beautiful and kind? Let us take a knife And cut the world in two -- And see what worms are eating At the rind."
I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.

These paintings are part of my STS Orbiter series. I’m attempting to make art for all 135 missions and have made 28 of them so far. One of my goals is to treat each mission differently in the art process, as each mission had its own unique achievements. #art #sciart

Hello Bluesky! I’m a NYC based artist *crazy* about drawing & painting. I’m also an adjunct professor at New School - Parsons where I teach drawing, painted 25 murals, most recently at JFK Intl Airport where I live painted a mural spanning over 100 feet. Glad to be here!
