Android System SafetyCore is an application that is automatically installed on phones that use the Android operating system. It scans pictures for nudity and blurs them out. It is all supposed to remain client side, but do you trust Google? I don't. Luckily, you can uninstall this.

Update: I have received an airdrop of about $5 worth of an unlaunched token was only able to achieve that by running constant automation and spending some personal time. It's become clear that you are competing against people who are gambling with real money to reach a leaderboard. Waste of time.

After a few attempts and the absolutely necessary use of various LLM's, I was able to dual boot a windows 11 laptop with Debian 12 and a KDE plasma desktop environment.
I use some that require Windows, but Linux is going be become my daily driver for everything else. Next up... the desktop machine

DeepSeek's privacy policy states it collects "keystroke patterns or rhythms". Sure, you have to use a keyboard to type prompts. They shouldn't need patterns and rhythms to execute code. Another reason to just don't.

Jan: Open source ChatGPT-alternative that runs 100% offline - Jan
Chat with AI without privacy concerns. Jan is an open-source alternative to ChatGPT, running AI models locally on your device.
Jan looks good. Also looking into open webui as well. I'm not rocking the best GPU, so my options are definitely limited with all of this in general. Barely got Stable Diffusion to run and it required a number of work arounds.

Hugging Face β The AI community building the future.
Weβre on a journey to advance and democratize artificial intelligence through open source and open science.
Apparently, it is open source though and its components can be downloaded through huggingface.co. That's a plus and I'm going to look into it. Having a local Ai chat bot that doesn't communicate with the corporate overlords would be pretty sweet.

I used to be a regular listener of CNN for years until the end of this last election cycle. I had realized that the punditry had become toxic and bordering on misinformation. Acosta always seemed to be able to reel people in when they started to get too far into left field though.
