Saturday outing to The Peak 1973. When I arrived back at the hotel, the aircraft captain told me he had received a signal to inform me that my Dad had died. 😢

When I visited circa 1973 landing at Kai Tak 😱 was the only option. Lots of little Red Books for sale in the town. A trip to the Peak on the island is mandatory. No tunnel then - the ferry was fun though.

Cycle parking on the West Schelde ferry. (Vlissingen to Breskens). Lots of cycles on the water taxi from Dordrecht to Rotterdam too.

I can recommend cycling in the Netherlands. I have not done it myself, but the cycling network is amazing. You can hire cycles at the Hoek van Holland if you travel by ferry.
