Yes! Really! Been honestly eager to read what happens next, but I know you've had a *lot* on your plate for a while.

We *always* picked cheetah speed, haha.

It is, especially when we've been bombarded with existential thoughts constantly these last couple days.

We are not alright.

Thoughts that trip our deep-seated existential fears keep popping up more and more as of late. It's terrifying enough when it crops up on the rare occasion, but this is getting distressingly out of hand and we don't know what to do. It's wearing us thin mentally.

It would *always* be "another time."

Sometimes with fondness, sometimes with a bit of melancholy. When asked about them, she's always loosely cryptic about them being display pieces that do at least genuinely mean something to her. Pressed further, she would simply wave it away as "a story for another time."

The other, a sword that looks almost fantastical or ceremonial in design, but has signs of wear. She's never really been *seen* wielding a sword before on *any* mission, let alone that particular sword. Still, she's occasionally seen looking thoughtfully at both trinkets.

Blurb on a character detail:

Visiting Celes' quarters, wherever she decided to take up residence for any length of time, she would always have two items on prominent display together. One, a curious cracked gem of some kind.

*Gods* do I ever feel that, too.. It sucks..

.......I kept going with it. :B Traced back over my pen doodle with a few fixes, then went at it with colored pencils. I'm almost scared to push on with shading and mess it all up.

Since I shared this kinda late last night. Far from perfect, but I'm still happy with these doodles~

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.

It is, after all, the outfit she wears in the game proper. (Though the added 3D cutscenes in the PS1 port has her wearing the Amano outfit instead, weirdly enough.)

I still *really* wanna comm somebody for something more dynamic in this outfit than I'd ever hope to doodle on my own, lol.

Pen doodle based on the Tetsuya Nomura chibi artwork for Celes Chere from Final Fantasy 6, though here with a canine muzzle and ears, plus a tail. Effectively, Celes the person and fursona dressed as Celes the video game character.

Pen doodle similar to the previous, though this one is shaded and stops at more of a bust with a very slightly pivoted side angle. This one was technically a "goof up" I started first but on a smaller sheet, but the unintentionally slightly different posing made for a good bust instead.

Had a particular doodling itch today. Celes as, well, *Celes.* Me as my chosen namesake. General Celes Chere, formerly of the Gestahlian Empire, turned rebel freedom fighter for the Returners. Had comm'd a piece before in the outfit from the Amano art, but I also really liked the Nomura outfit.
