If Dems are smart, they start a nationwide donor program *TODAY* to get funding and groceries to food banks across America before the holidays and promote the hell out of it across all media.

This is wild risk for both sides of the aisle. We know those stories of people not being able to afford a Thanksgiving dinner because of losing SNAP benefits are coming. The question is, who does the public blame? I don't know the answer to that but one side is going to get gored.

Also, I know that there are a lot of really rich people in America (I am assuming that this is an American friend but who knows). But how many people could just write a personal check for $130 million? And do you get to write off an in-kind contribution to the gov't like it's a charity?

I want to know how this is operationalized. If I am going to write a check to fund the military, do I wire the money to Trump? Is there a specific account? And then how does the money go from that account to the account that pays "the military"? I want to see the paper trail.
