Nigel Farage on Russia Today.

Nigel Farage on Russia Today.

Glad to see Nigel Farage has finally remembered Nathan Gill, former leader of Reform in Wales - found guilty of taking bribes from Russia.

Maybe he'll now remember how much he took from Putin's propaganda broadcaster Russia Today for all his TV appearances when he was a MEP?

Also worth noting that this is just his opinion. Green Party policy is decided by the membership, not by the leader. So this would only become policy if it was voted on as a motion at Conference, which I think would require a more detailed proposal that answered concerns like yours.

He has clarified since then: he doesn’t advocate leaving NATO right now, he suggests building a new alliance to replace it that’s based on peace and diplomacy. And only leaving NATO when that alternative is in place. No idea how feasible that is but worth understanding his whole position I think.

Yeah, that’s true. We’ve been definitely lacking this perspective in the political media in England and Wales though.

Several people hold of signs endorsing public ownership of the railways.

Do you want a railway that works for people not profit? 🚆

The good news is there’s lots of MPs who agree. 👍🏼

We were in parliament today with Chris Hinchliffe MP, Martin Wrigley MP and some fantastic rail experts to launch our vision for the railways bill.

Fascinating paper using the unique circumstances of Starmer's "Islands of Strangers" speech falling in the middle of BESIP fieldwork to assess its impact.

Reduced Labour support + no evidence of reduced support for Reform UK.

The latest of many studies suggesting that accommodation doesn't work.

Looking for Labour’s lost voters - The British Election Study

🚨New Research 🚨

Ahead of the release of Wave 30 of the BES Internet Panel, the team has examined Labour's decline since the 2024 GE.

Labour's support has splintered into mostly indecision or left-liberal parties, but they've also lost their few right-wing voters.

Labour has succeeded only in strengthening Farage. The way is now open for Zack Polanski’s Greens | George Monbiot By caving to the hard right and corporate greed, Labour has left a gaping hole the new Green party leader is best placed to fill, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Those who can channel our anger at 15 years of misrule, who can speak the language of outrage and hope, are the politicians of the moment. They will contribute to what could be, in 2029, the greatest electoral reset in our modern history.

Passengers not profit: a vision for the Railways Bill. Statement from Chris Hinchliff, Labour MP.
"I welcome the publication of this constructive document from We Own It. The Labour Government has committed to the monumental step of bringing our railways into public ownership, calling time on 30 years of privatisation that delivered poor services and sky-high prices. We Own It’s proposals align with the Government’s ambition to deliver well-resourced, affordable railways that improve connectivity and help us reach net zero by getting people out of polluting cars and onto clean, reliable trains."

Steve Reed told Parliament his dep't provided the figure of £100bn to buy back water.
The DEFRA Under-Secretary and civil servants are on record saying the figure came from a report funded by water companies.
