BREAKING: A few minutes ago, a vehicle of three people was rammed by a truck belonging to federal immigration authorities in Boyle Heights, CA. According to security footage shown to me, they deployed chemical munitions & detained the driver at gunpoint. All are US citizens according to the wife.

The crime? They received grants from the EPA under the Biden administration. The absurd claim is that they conspired to defraud the government -- by writing successful grant applications.

The acting head of the government’s human resources arm, Charles Ezell, is refusing to testify in tomorrow’s case that challenges the legality of the recent mass firings of federal workers. His absence raises serious questions—what is there to hide?

to form a more perfect Union
establish Justice
insure domestic Tranquility
provide for the common defence
promote the general Welfare &
secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity

Seven Mountains thinking wants to build the next Rome, but Jesus never asked us to run the world. He asked us to be different from it.

Peter calls us exiles, not empire-builders (1 Pet. 2:11). The church was never meant to be the ruling class—it’s a people set apart, a light in the darkness, a city on a hill.

But idols always demand more than they give. Sooner or later, those idols demand a sacrifice and something — or someone — ends up on the altar.

The danger of chasing influence is that we can end up worshiping it. The Israelites made a golden calf when they thought God wasn’t acting fast enough.

Seven Mountains theology risks the same mistake—believing we must take control because God’s way is too slow.

How many of us had our lives saved or greatly impacted by the physicians and scientists funded by NIH dollars at any of the institutes mentioned below?

If we want to change the world, we should follow Jesus' example: love our neighbors, serve the poor, stand for truth, and embody grace. The kingdom of God isn’t built by conquering mountains—it’s built by transforming hearts. 🛑
